Here's a helpful tip. 80% of your immune system shuts down during menstruation. You'll notice you can feel a little run down or sick, more tired, and you might even notice it's harder to kick a bug if you've already caught it. What can you do about it? Load up on anti-viral or anti-bacterial supplements about 10 days before your period. Some of my favorites are echinacea/goldenseal, Ester-C, fresh celery or cucumber juice, and/or the Mega Immune Oil from PURIFY SKIN THERAPY.
